This antique Herend Rothschild Bird scalloped dish showcases brightly feathered songbirds, artistically perched on a stylised branch adorned with a delicate gold chain.

This golden chain subtly references a captivating 19th-century tale where Baroness Rothschild's pearl necklace, lost in the garden of her Vienna residence, was later found by her gardener, playfully entwined among birds in a tree. 

Despite its beauty, this dish does have a small crack on the rim.
